Shane Florence

Shane was born and raised in the Ohio Valley and is a 1992 graduate of Shadyside High School where he participated in Football, Baseball, Basketball and Track. After High School he attended Mercer University in Macon,GA on an athletic/academic scholarship for baseball. Shane graduated from Mercer in 1997 with a B.S. in Biology and a B.A in History. After graduation he was accepted into the Physical Therapy program at Western Carolina University in Cullowhee,NC where he earned his Masters Degree. Upon completion of his clinical work at Akron General Hospital, Shane accepted a job at their Health and Wellness facility in Montrose, OH where he began his career as an outpatient physical therapist treating Orthopedic and Neurologic patients. Later, deciding to move back to the Ohio Valley to be closer to family and friends, he worked at Wetzel County Hospital in New Martinsville,WV as their Director of Rehabilitation for 12 years and for Alecto Healthcare as their Corporate Director of Rehabilitation for OVMC and EORH until their closing in 2019. In over 20 years experience as an Outpatient Physical Therapist, Shane has developed his skills in Orthopedics, McKenzie Low Back and Cervical treatment programs, Dry Needling, treatment of Fibromyalgia, Manual Therapy Techniques and Functional Capacity evaluations.

Shane currently resides in Shadyside with his wife Kim, children Ryan and Peyton, and his 2 dogs Katie and Brutus. When not working he enjoys watching his children compete in athletics and dance, as well as hunting, golfing, and coaching baseball.

Josh Bryniasrski

Josh Bryniarski

Josh was brought up in Lansing, Ohio. He graduated from St. Joseph grade school and then on to St. John Central High School in Bellaire. There he played football, basketball and baseball, missing a few seasons due to a femur fracture, which sparked an interest in Physical Therapy. After graduating from St. John’s in 1997, Josh went on to Case Western Reserve University. There he majored in Biology and minored in Sports Medicine. The Sports Medicine program afforded him the opportunity to be a student Athletic Trainer for a variety of collegiate sports teams. Upon graduating with honors from Case Western Reserve University, Josh worked at Wheeling Hospital as an Aide in the outpatient and inpatient Physical Therapy departments. With this experience, he then went on to The Ohio State University, graduating in 2004 with his Master’s in Physical Therapy. Deciding to move back to the area, Josh was hired at East Ohio Regional Hospital in 2005. Over his 16 years at EORH, in the outpatient department, he developed his skills in orthopedics, receiving training in Maitland, McKenzie and Sacroiliac disorders; earning certifications in instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization, dry needling, functional capacity evaluations and credentialed as a clinical instructor. Ultimately testing and gaining certification as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist in 2015 from the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties.

Josh resides in St. Clairsville with his wife Olivia and his three boys: Caleb, Xander and Asher, and dog Cooper. When not at the clinic, Josh enjoys attending his boys sporting activities and spending time with Olivia, remodeling their home.
